Fear and Hunger 2: Termina is a port for Android devices of the popular role-playing game. It works perfectly without emulation and offers the same experience as on a PC, including specially adapted touch controls. You are only given 3 days to uncover the secrets this wicked land holds within its darkest corners. Among 14 strangers, you find yourself on the outskirts of the backwaters town of Prehevil. A city that still holds tight to its ancient rites and macabre traditions. You are forced to partake in the Festival of Termina, an ominous event that only occurs once in every pale and sickly green moon. A moon that happens to be grinning and watching your every step... There is only one that walks away once the three days are over.
Choose your character and get ready to suffer
In the first Fear and Hunger, you could choose between four different adventurers, each with their unique abilities and motivations. In Fear and Hunger 2: Termina, however, you will find eight characters to choose from: the ex-soldier, the occultist, the doctor, the mechanic, the yellow mage, the botanist, the boxer, and the journalist. Again, each character has a background and offers certain advantages and disadvantages. And, again, all characters can be recruited along your adventure as you progress and discover new regions and secrets. On this occasion, however, most characters will join only momentarily.
A city without mercy
All the action in Fear and Hunger 2: Termina takes place in and around the city of Prehevil. When the adventure begins, with the main character arriving in the city by train, something evil occurs on the streets. Your first objective, as you might be able to guess, will be to cross this rural area located on the outskirts and reach the heart of the city. Unfortunately, it won't be long before you start to find hints that something serious is happening. As in the first Fear and Hunger, your chances of dying are pretty high, no matter what you do. For this reason, it is always advisable to proceed with caution and not look for a fight if it is not unavoidable. After all, any wound can get infected and become a very serious problem.
Backdrop and story
The story of Fear and Hunger 2: Termina is related to the first game's events despite taking place much later. Many of the game's background elements are especially expanded in this sequel, as you can learn more about the evil pantheon of gods in this dark and cruel world. A lot of the fun in this game is precisely in attempting to piece together the information that makes up the huge puzzle that is its story and background. The good part? If you miss something, you can always take a look at the Wiki, although, of course, this is only recommended for players who have already finished the game.
