With Sonic Mania Plus Mobile, the original Sonic Mania game comes out as both a new game and as downloadable content (DLC). If you haven't already bought Sonic Mania, this plus version is the way to go. It has everything the game had, plus a new mode called "Encore," a longer mode called "Competitive Multiplayer," and some different playable characters. These changes and improvements are definitely cool. But the base game was good enough to catch the attention of any Sonic fan, even if they hadn't been to Green Hill Zone in a year.

The thirteen “Zones” Sonic Mania Plus Mobile, was already filled with 2D platforming goodness. Each one has two actions and a boss who is having trouble. Their presence literally opens up levels in ways that can only be reached by their own special skills, without making them much weaker or making Sonic's 2D adventures harder or easier.
