In the game One Day at a Time, you play the part of a heroin addict. You live with your drug-using girlfriend Lydia. Along the way, you'll meet a number of other women whom you can romance or, in some cases, corrupt. On your way to getting better, you will have to make a lot of important choices. How will you accept your new way of living? All of this is up to you...
Even though the game is about serious things, it also has a lot of heart and humour. These people are not homeless junkies. I wanted to show what it's like to be addicted to drugs and what it takes to stay that way or decide enough is enough and get clean. This game means a lot to me because of what I've been through in the past. The characters are all made up, but the way of life is real. Since I'm anonymous here, I'd like to say that I've been sober for over 12 years so that no one thinks I'm still living this way, but I did.
